Slim and speedy, the 6-amp Hoover Flair stick cleaner is a handy cleaning tool for bare floors and low carpets. It has a 10-inch floor nozzle for efficient coverage and collects dirt and debris in a bagless dust cup for easy upkeep. The cup is clear for monitoring and pops off quickly to empty in the trash bin. A washable cloth filter is included inside, and an additional side-mounted filter helps keep smaller particles from returning to the atmosphere of your home. Thank goodness
I have hardwood floors in two levels of my townhome. I have a cat who tracks cat litter eveywhere. This product which I just got yesterday is great. I had a Eureka stick and the wheels started leaving marks on my floors. Then again it was three years old. Also FYI if you have harwood floors use the Bona product line to clean them. Great product I have used it for three years.


Sucks up a storm
I'm after Doberman hair, and the dirt the many toothed dude brings in the house.
Easier than a dry mop since I don't have to move chairs and the like around as much, can work around.


Waste of money! Overheats, no suction, save your money
Received in 10 weeks ago, I have used it no more than 15 times on tiny areas like kitchen, hall, etc.....hardwood, not carpet.........though difficult to empty filter and to store, was tolerable.......

Now it overheats even though used no more than 10 minutes.......engine shuts off........as of two hours ago, still off!!!

I suppose if I saved the box for this vacuum, wanted to pack it up and go to UPS and ship it at my expense, they might help..........as it stands, will vote by telling you DON'T BUY THIS


Great little vac
This is the second Flair purchased from Amazon. The first lasted three years (it still runs but the wheels fell off!).
It had a tendency to go through belts if you jammed the power brush with things like rug fringe and cords etc. If you hear
it squeal turn it off quickly and remove the jam!
We ordered spare belts from Hoover online.
It is our primary vacuum. We live on the beach year round and the little vac gets quite a workout all summer. We use it daily
for sand etc. There are minor issues ie the belt and the filter could be more robust, but for you can't go wrong.
Note: we have area rugs on hardwood. The power brush must be run most of the time or it will pack up with dust and dirt.
In three years the motor filters never needed cleaning or changing. We did purchase a spare main filter, again from Hoover online.


Great vac for hard surfaces
This is a great vacuum for hard surfaces. Easy to use no bags just a cup to empty. This is our second one,we love it and would buy another. Have to make sure the filter is cleaned after each use for max performance. We use our other vacuum with crevice tool to clean the filter.
