Amazon.com Review:
Providing 1500 watts of steam power, this heavy-duty cleaner requires no chemicals and is easy to use. Ideal for cleaning and detailing cars, trucks, motorcycles, or boats, the cleaner removes stains and odors from upholstery, carpeting, and floor mats, as well as grease and grime from engines, wheels, and chrome accessories. It also works well for removing stuck-on dirt from the BBQ grill, patio furniture, or garage. The "steam ready" light indicates when the unit is ready to use, and a steam-control switch provides control over the amount of steam coming from the unit. The cleaner features a storage compartment for its 10 attachments, which include a steam jet nozzle, two extension wands, a triangle brush, an upholstery/floor brush, and a utility brush, as well as a squeegee, funnel, measuring cup, and terry cover for the floor brush. Its 12-foot power cord, caster wheels, and included accessories offer convenient mobility and make it easy to clean nooks and crannies in hard-to-reach places. The 13-pound steam cleaner has a 50-ounce water-tank capacity, which allows for one full hour of use. The unit measures 17-1/2 by 11-3/7 by 9-1/4 inches. --Catie Unger

Great Steam Cleaner overall
The company has been fabulous to deal with, responding to my email questions almost immediately. I love the steam cleaner as it has enough power to effectively loosen dirt from floors and shower walls with little effort. The "slight" drawback is they provide only one cloth for wiping the surfaces, but you can purchase additional cloths from them or simply use other microfiber cloths or towels. I also like the long flexible tube as you can easily reach high places and corners without fighting with a stiff extension wand. Yet the two hard wands are handy in other situations, like floors. I do wish the flexible tube was detachable for easier carrying and transporting of the unit, but that is a trivial concern. The water tank is a good size so you don't have to refill it often. I can usually get my cleaning done on one tank. I have used other steam cleaners and found this to be more powerful and a very good value for the cost. Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy with this machine.

Very Disappointed!
I am the type of person who does a lot of research before I buy what I was sure is the best machine and boy was I WRONG on this one! I got this machine to mop the floors, clean the grill, clean grout, clean windows, clean stainless steel fridge, and sanitize kids toys. Very disappointed with the way this machine handles every task on my list.

Mopping floors:
Tile worked ok then on the sealed wood floors it left noticeable streaks messy looking. One thing it did do was take of little paint specks on the floor but it took forever. To hard to mop the stairs and a pain to carry up the stairs. That was using the nozzle in the picture. Oh and by the way they only give you one pad that's very flimsy.

Clean the grill:
Pointless doesn't clean it.

Clean grout:
Takes forever much quicker to do it by hand.

Clean windows:
Terrible sopping wet and streaky.

Clean stainless steel:
Sopping wet again then tried using a towel on top of the squeegee attachment it was very streaky.

Sanitize kids toys:
Just made a puddle of water easier to wipe then down with hot water.

I don't understand why this machine has such good reviews. I have bought the eureka enviro for mopping will see how that works in a couple of days.

What a waste of money and the little brush tools do ruin quickly if you have to press at all.

There is a handle on the machine but no shoulder strap. I always got the maching caught up on the cord and the nozzle wire annoying.

Its annoying to drag that canister around everywhere you go in the house.

You have to wait a while for it to start.

If you want a quick machine to get the job done correctly and neatly don't buy this one.

Hope this review helps someone I wish I never bought this machine.

Great steamer
I agree with the other reviews, this is a great steamer. Well built
and the steam lasts. We had a hand held steamer that was heavy to lug
around with water inside than tried the Monster which was too big to
fit in close areas and left the floor sopping wet. Glad we found this
one.

Very good, but not perfect
I just bought one yesterday and have begun cleaning away. The unit seems to be built rather well, including the accessories.

It includes a number of small bristle brushes for scrubbing while steaming. Don't expect too much from them if you scrub aggressively. I flattened one out in about 10-15 mins of use.

It could use some nice way to wrap the cord and hose. There also isn't any place to store most of the accessories to keep them together.

Its kind of silly that the hose is on the side opposite of the steering wheel. You can't really pull it along well, although I wouldn't pull it if its not on a smooth surface. You wouldn't want the hose coming out or breaking and then having steam blow everywhere.

One thing I noticed, more expensive machines aren't supposed to do this, is that you will get a lot of puddling if you don't move very quickly. This means that its not a good choice for steam cleaning fabrics like drapes, chairs, and carpets because you could create a mold issue with all of the water that is left behind.

Remember that steam cleaning is not necessarily easier, you're just cleaning with out chemicals. You're first cleaning may be difficult if there is alot of grime to remove. But maintenance cleanings afterwards will be easier.

I got mine cheaply enough so I can live with some of the short comings. I would recommend to a friend who doesn't want to spend a ton of money on a better quality one.

mccoulloch steam cleaner
I was very disappointed with the effeciency of this product. I bought it for house whole use. It is not powerful enough for what I intended to use it for, cleaning soap scum from fiberglass showers and glass shower doors. It still requied a lot of intense scrubbing. I probably will just do it by hand instead of dragging out the equipment and wasting time setting everything and then cleaning everything up for storage. I was really hoping this would be the answer to this task.
