good idea bad performance
I have gone thru two of these and now have an expensive piece of junk that does not run. Beware! The batteries fail and the machine itself has problems with regular use. I am very disappointed.

works great for pets
This is my 2nd roomba. I decided to buy this version instead of the past one I had (0). I did not require the "room blockers" or infared device. This works great for pets, I run this 5x a week for my 1000+ sq foot apartment and it picks up the sand, small hair, etc.
Just keep filter clean and check the under belt for any strings that might jam.
Good product for the price.

Don't buy!
We have owned 3 Roombas. They have each worked for a short time, but then the trouble begins. Batteries last less than a year and are expensive to replace. There is a lot of maintenance required in cleaning the brushes and removing hair from all of the moving parts. This model won't go over a rug or carpeting. Stops sporadically for no apparent reason.

Roombas are better than the Scooba, but don't waste money on any IRobot product. Their products are good conceptually but the engineering is faulty.

be prepaired to waste money on this and its batteries
The battery in this product has only a minimal life before it goes bad and is not capable of running the roomba. Be prepaired to spend + every 3 months for a new battery if you use the roomba once a week. Also the battery seems too self discharge over the course of a week so the roomba is usually not even ready to go when you plan to use it. I have owned two roombas(second one was a gift) and 4 batteries and my experience has been the same with each one.

good stuff, but too expensive
I rated this only four stars because of the cost. I wish I knew what was in this stuff that makes it "safe" to use in the Scooba. I suspect it is something that costs about 79 cents a gallow, but they color it blue and charge you 12 bucks for it.

It DOES clean well. My floors were disgusting. However, unless your floors are absolutely filthy, stick with the vinegar and water. That does a bang up job, and a quart of vinegar at B000EINJXS.89 will last you forever.

Scooba Cleaner
I really like the product and have even ussed it without my scooba. It has a refreshing scent... cleans well.

Order carefully
When I purchased the iRobot Dirt Dog Workshop Robot, this cleaning solution was recommended as a product to use with the Dirt Dog. However, the Dirt Dog doesn't have a cleaning option so this solution was a wasted purchase. Be careful when ordering recommended products!

Great Product, Smells Good and Cleans without Streaks!
This cleaning solution is great. Before my Scooba, I was on the hunt for a product that would clean my floors without (literally) giving me a headache and without leaving streaks. I tried countless brands and spent lots of money. Many, many products gave me headaches, I'm not sure if it was the tons of fragrance or the chemicals overall. Also, many of them also left my laminate and marble floors with visible streaks. It drove me crazy! The Scooba cleaning solution has a very mild scent and doesn't leave streaks on my floors. It may seem pricey, I get about 20+ uses per bottle. (I don't always need to use the full 1.5 oz per use, I use about half of that when cleaning my smaller rooms.)

Having said all of this, the Scooba doesn't HAVE to take this solution, it could take plain white vinegar as well.

Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, if you shop around you could possibly find it for a lower price.

Does it's job as advertised.
This soap works well in the Roomba Scooba, and works far better than plain vinegar, which the documentation for the Roomba Scooba says is an option. This provides a good smell and leaves a great sheen on linolium. I can't say it makes wood shine, but my wood also needs polished.

Using plain water in the Scooba will leave you with a scooba that has no traction and will constantly tell you it is stuck.

The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it was more concentrated, came in a smaller bottle and required less solution per cycle.
